Vested in Voices (VīV) provides an ongoing place where those that have been historically left out of decision making and influence on community projects, can now share their perspectives and ideas. VīV creates an opportunity for local government and community organizations to hear these perspectives and ideas directly and ensure that they are considered in the decision making process.
Further, VīVcreates opportunities for communication between you, your local government, local organizations, and community members by not only responding to surveys, but by posting your ideas and thoughts and having the ability to hear how other community members are feeling.
In order to share your voice, you will need to register and complete an online form. This is so we can verify that those sharing their voices are indeed from the local community. You can register here.
You can stay up to date on projects by going to the Projects page and clicking on the project of interest. Once you click on a specific project, you can get updates under the Impact tab. You can also hear from other community members and share your own thoughts through the Feed tab. The Project page link is located at the top of the Home Page.
If you move within Dane County, we ask that you update the location in which you reside or work, and continue to be involved in VīV. If you move out of Dane County for an extended time or permanently, you can close your account, since VīV is set up to serve the communities within Dane County.
